Heidi Miller is the chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s
Treasury & Securities Services (TSS) unit. As one of the world's largest
cash management providers, TSS processes a market-leading average of $3.7
trillion in U.S. Dollar transfers daily and is also a leading global
custodian, with an average of $14.4 trillion in assets under custody.
Miller is recognized as one of the most powerful women in business for her
consistent ability to create bottom line growth, despite market volatility.
Ms. Miller's leadership has made TSS one of the most profitable business
units at J.P. Morgan, resulting in record increases in net income and net
revenue.
As a member of J.P. Morgan's operating committee, she plays an integral role
in JPMorgan Chase's management team. Miller is in charge of broadening the
firm's international footprint and strengthening the strategic partnerships
between the Investment Bank, Asset Management and TSS.
Since U.S. Banker introduced its annual ranking of the “25 Most Powerful
Women in Banking” in 2003, Miller has earned a spot on the list every year,
and was ranked first from 2007 to 2009. In the 2008, Miller ranked amongst
Fortune’s “Top 50 Women in Banking” List. In 2009, Miller was ranked #1 on
Crain's list of the “50 Most Powerful Women in New York.” Forbes also
included Miller in their “100 Most Powerful Women” list.
Miller serves on the General Mills, Inc. Board of Directors as well as the
Board of Conservation International and is a trustee of Princeton
University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in history. Miller
earned her doctorate degree in history from Yale.
